Milo Yiannopoulos Cancels Visit to Penn State

British journalist and Breitbart contributor Milo Yiannopoulos has cancelled his upcoming visit to Penn State due to a failure to reach a contract agreement, according to College Republican President Michael Straw.

While the Penn State College Republicans planned to host Yiannopoulos on Wednesday, the event was removed from his website on Sunday afternoon before the cancellation was confirmed by those at Penn State. The University Park Allocation Committee (UPAC) also planned to fund his visit, but those in Yiannopoulos’ group could not agree upon the way that tickets for the event would be allocated.

“Ultimately, those in his group were not able to reach an agreement with contracting,” Straw told The Underground. “Instead, they cancelled the event before notifying us.”

There are no plans for Yiannopoulos to come to campus in the future.
